Wanda the Wonderful Post-Production & Screening update

Almost there…. We finished the mix (pending music licensing agreements all working out…) and working with Sound Designer extraordinaire Johnny Marshall has been an incredible experience. The sound in the film is now just amazing!

Moving back into picture, I am working with colorist Anand Modi in Austin as we take an artistically stylized approach to coloring the narrative footage, and it looks incredible! Kudos once again to DP Kimby Caplan, and gaffers Ben Tubb and Nathan Harris for doing such a great job.

Big news! The film will have its world premiere at the Oak Cliff Film Festival in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday June 22 at 6pm at the Kessler Theater (known for good sound…). I am so thrilled to be premiering the film at the OCFF – it’s the coolest festival in Dallas, and that’s a fact. They have very selective taste, mixing cult and indie classics with new, cutting edge work, and I am so proud that “Wanda the Wonderful” will premiere at this splendid festival.

We will be having a local Wyoming premiere and further screenings in Worland, Wyoming, at the Washakie Twin Cinema from July 3 through July 7. If you are in the Rocky Mountains for the fourth of July, please come by, there will be a number of screenings to choose from. Please check the news, screenings page for latest info.

If you want to help us through the last and most expensive stretch of finishing this film, you can do so by donating to the project through our fiscal sponsor, San Francisco Film Society.
